The 46th Annual Kentuck Festival of the Arts:

If you are an art enthusiast, this festival is the place to be. It features a substantial amount of work from nationally and internally acclaimed folk artists. Wondering how much you’ll see? Well, there will be over 270 folk, contemporary, and visionary artists present, so prepare for more amazing pieces than you can imagine.

In addition to amazing art from talented creators, there will also be FREE hands-on art workshops available for the kids to enjoy.

While you’re there, be sure to visit the interactive live demonstrations from the experts. These craftspeople are skilled basketmakers, woordworkers, potters, blacksmiths, quilters, fiber and fabric artists, and jewelers. So, no matter what your interests are, there will be someone there to assist you and answer any artistic creation questions you may have.

The Kentuck Experience at the Alabama Folk School:

The Kentuck Art Center & Festival has partnered with the Alabama Folk School at Camp McDowell to produce a workshop to remember. This event will provide festival attendees with the opportunity to keep the festival experience going, even after it has ended. By attending this week-long workshop, visitors will have the opportunity to meet Kentuck artists and learn about their craft. There is absolutely no experience necessary to attend this event.
